Sungei Emas, Johor

Sg Emas, Johor is located at the fringe of Labis Forest Reserve and Endau-Rompin National Park. The trails are very tight for 4x4s with lots of mud-holes and bridges to build and cross. Winches and recovery gear are a must unless you have 32" wheels or want to abandon your vehicle in there. Depending on the trail condition and driver experience, the journey can take anywhere between 45 mins to 10 hrs.

But after a gruelling journey, the area rewards you with lovely campsites either next to a river or at the base of a waterfall.

You could continue on and come out near Bekok, if you have a couple more days and fuel to spare. I would rather use enduro bikes as it would cover the distance in a third of the time.
